In class we are reading Lord of the Flies. I am a Lost fan. It is crazy how much the directors of Lost have taken from the book. There are so many similarities.
I really enjoyed the book in the fact there was always some caos going on. However, I do not like how confusing it is. I get lost in the whole "beast" theory. I think what mainly confuses me is when I read I think about the show Lost. Also, I dont like how sad and depressing. In the end it ends on such a sad note. It was sad that alls they have to go home to is another war. Which really got me thinking. Is it really worth it? To me its not.

Oh, that's a good question. Idk the answer though. This book confused me also because half the time I couldn't tell who was speaking in the dialog. But yeah the beast theory just means that the beast was in every one of the boys on the island. It was their imagination I guess.
The book is very confusing and difficult to read. We only had a week to read it. I did not like it at all. I would never suggest this as a book to read.
